Welcome to the page dedicated to the Subaru Impreza!!
Hi, my name is Kwong and I live in Normanhurst, NSW in Australia. This page is dedicated to Subaru Imprezas
This Impreza is one of the most wanted sports car by teenagers. Since Australian road regulations have forbidden powerful cars the WRX STi version is not allowed into Australia. There are some exceptions though, 400 of these cars have been imported in by Subaru Australia. The price of the 200kW-plus, two-door road rocket will be $60,000- some 50% more than the current, but way below any car of similar performance and looks. It is available in white or WRC blue. This two-door all-wheel drive coupe has a 2.0Litre, twin DOHC turbocharged flat four. Gearbox ratios will also be taller than the standard ultra-close ratio STi transmission, although the Japanese 180km/h speed limiter will be retained. The Version V's newly developed boxer phase II engine still pumps out 206kW at 6500 rpm in line with Japanese regulations, but supplies lots of more low to mid-ranged torque than the current model through revised intake ports, thus picking an extra 16Nm taking it to 353Nm at 4000rpm. The materials that the car uses include an alloy bonnet and lower control arms for the front suspension. Brakes have been revised as well with 16-inch ventilated discs at the front and 15-inch two-pot callipers. The WRX STi uses Bridgestone Potenza RE010 16-inch tyres on Subaru's gold, five-spoke wheels.

The Subaru Impreza WRX 22B
The 22B is the rarest of the WRX, that it cannot be registered in any state, therefore making it wanted by collectors. This car is used as the 1998 and 1999 Subaru rally car. The 22B's power is 206kW although the actual rally car has 262kW. The peak torque figure is up slightly from 353Nm to 362Nm, but it arrives at 3200prm rather than 4000. Not to be mistaken for the existing STi coupe, the 22B has the full arches pack and a boot spoiler tall enough to scrape the clouds. Thoses arches make the 22B 80mm wider than the STi Version V which in turn allows the front track to grow by 20m and the rear by 40mm. The 235/40 Pirelli P Zeros, fitted in 17-inch BBS alloys, have extraordinary grip on road or tarmac. This amazing WRX can accelerate from 0-100km/h in less than 4.3sec and 160km/h in less than 11.9sec. The price for the 22B was originally $110,000 but competition from collectors have cause prices to soar to $160,000.
